Jeff Zucker was named president and chief executive officer of NBC Universal in February 2007. With annual revenues of more than $16 billion, NBC Universal is one of the worlds leading media and entertainment content companies, with unparalleled expertise in the development, production, and marketing of entertainment, news, and information to a global audience across a variety of distribution platforms. Zucker had served since December 2005 as chief executive officer of the NBC Universal Television Group. In this role, he was responsible for the strategic development and operations of NBC Universals extensive portfolio of broadcast and cable television networks, which accounts for twothirds of the companys overall revenues.
