The BRATS is a nonprofit corporation under section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue code and a nonprofit corporation in the State of Maryland. The BRATS benefits the Baltimore and amateur radio communities through emergency communications, public service, education, and experimentation. Technical interests of the BRATS include amateur television ATV, VHFFM repeaters, shortwave, microwave, packet radio, short wave listening SWL, ARRL Field Day, and radio contests. The BRATS are meeting monthly at the Pikesville Library, 1301 Reisterstown Road. on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:15 pm.
