My specialty captures the triumph and energy of professional athletic competition primarily with oil on canvas as well as graphite pieces. I work very closely with every client to develop a unique piece of art, ensuring complete satisfaction. My attention to detail makes my work a popular choice of professional athletes, their fans, as well as corporations among many others. Beginning in the late 1990’s my paintings gained national recognition with appearances on CNN, ESPN, Channel 7 Fox Miami and the Sunshine Network Cable Florida. Numerous articles covering my accomplishments appeared in USA Today, The Miami Herald, and The Fort Lauderdale SunSentinel. My works appeared on covers of major publications such as ‘The Sports Collectible Digest’ and Dans Papers Weekly publication, New York City and The Hamptons. I’ve been honored with my works selected for Official Posters for the ‘Dressage on The First Coast FEI Great AmericanUSDF Region 3 Championships’ held in Jacksonville, Florida 2005, ‘The Aventura Festival of the Arts’ Aventura, Florida 1994, and a Limited Edition lithograph of Scott Mellanby distributed by the Florida Panthers Hockey Club. Originally I started oil painting with private lessons for a year when I was 10 years old. When I moved to Florida from New York at age14, I stopped painting and focused on showing my horse at hunterjumper shows. In the late 1980’s, I picked up a brush and resumed painting wildlife and showing my work while running my martial arts studio. My motivation for painting professional athletes evolved as a personal choice from an aesthetically pleasing piece for my own studio in 1993. When I brought it to an autograph session by this Florida Marlin, he loved it so much that he purchased it. This was the epiphany that drew me to create more in this same vein from which I have carved an enjoyable and successful career. The rest is artsports history. I have displayed my work at Dolphin ProPlayer Stadium with the Florida Marlins, The Miami Dolphins, The Orange Bowl, The Florida Panthers Hockey Club, The Baltimore Orioles, The Orlando Museum of Art, Calder Race Course and many fine art shows thruout the country. I also work with graphite pencil and charcoal and can be commissioned for a custom piece of any player, pet specializing in horses. I mostly work off photographs, take alot of my own and pay great attention to detail that has made my work a choice for corporations, sport fans and popular athletes.
