Ami Shishani born in Sweden, or Lingonskogen, as I call it. I always loved animals, I had horses, dogs cats and other cute pets most of my life. They have always been an important part of my life I have learned so much from them. I have been drawing and painting since I could hold a pen. It has been a passion throughout my life, and has been my profession for almost as long. I moved to US in the 80ties , first living in New Jersey for 10 years and now settled in California. Since then I also done breed standards, book illustrations, coloring books, design on race cars, motor cycles, murals, and more. I compose my art by watching animals, nature and everything else in life. Since I started my website I have done work for people all over the world and all across United States. It gives me the outmost pleasure to make people happy with my art, and to hear their positive comments is priceless. I feel very blessed that I got this wonderful gift to create art and be able to use it every day.
