ACT Productions Inc, a unique company producing Television Shows and Music CDs which express the richness and variety of the worlds cultures. Operating since 1989, ACT Productions has created Music Mondo, a series showcasing the music and culture of different countries. The pilot, produced and broadcast on CBC Ottawa, featured the music of Dario Domingues and his Argentinean roots. In 1991, ACT Productions was contracted to publish the book Gaining a Voice a book showing individuals and community groups how to get their message across in the media. Since then, ACT Productions has produced Gaining a Voice Video, an eight part TV series expanding the work of the book. Gaining a Voice has been broadcast on Vision TV and on TVO in 1997, and is currently being broadcast by Access Alberta.
