Over a decade ago, Massachusetts residents James E. Brown and Yssa Santos borrowed a home video camera and began production of About The Arts. In 1995, the half hour weekly cable television program featured visual, performing, literary and media artists, and has been televised on Boston Neighborhood Network, Cambridge Community Television, and Brockton Community Access Television. The goal of the program was to provide local and area artists with much needed exposure and visibility, bringing the arts to the forefront and providing viewers with innovative and original arts programming.
